A revised environmental review clears the way for a US$452 million zinc mine in North Sumatra
PT Dairi Prima Mineral has secured a revised feasibility study and AMDAL addendum for its Anjing Hitam underground zinc-lead project in Dairi Regency, three years after the Supreme Court sent the company back to redo its environmental review. The 2026 approval pairs a US$452 million investment with a backfill mining method that eliminates the surface tailings dam.
